After I burned a song onto a disc and window poped up saying........."you have authorized a total number of 1 machines out of your available 5" I don't understand what this means?

I'm trying to email a zip file, but everytime I do, the connection 'times out.' It will be half-way through sending, then just stop completely, saying it was timed out. ("exceeded the time limit" or something like that)
Does anyone have advice or tips on successfully sending ZIPPED files? Or any other way to send a large amount of pictures?

my computer is a very busy one with broadband. you could just imagine how many things we download off internet and save loads of stuff on the hard disk. i want to keep my computer clean on a regular basis. how can i schedule disk cleanups and defragmentation? can i do it everyday?

I have a problem with my computer. It's playing music, commercials and people randomly talking but all of it is apparently coming from no where. There's no pop up to explain it, no program open, nothing! Does anyone have any idea what is going on with it or what it could possibly be? It's starting to creep me out! My Computer is running really slow when connected to the internet.

Yesterday I freed up about 30% Disk space on my C Drive. Then I Defragmented it.

Then I connected to the Web it was Fine and then all of a sudden it began running slow.

Any Ideas what could be causing this?
Any Idea How to fix it?

I have no security on at the Moment

I have over 1 gig of RAM. I defragmented, emptied internet file folders, I have high speed cable. After I added the memory my computer worked great. Then microsoft did an auto upgrade and it is slow again.

I have found an old amstrad game thanks to yahoo answers but cannot get it to work on my pc. I have downloaded the game, and an emulator but how do I get the game running? Its driving me nuts!! extracting zip files are easy......
but how the heck do ya extract a flippin rar?? lol
also I downloaded some resorts to add to the neighbour hood 'it specifically mentioned..when I extract the files,, to place them in the 'collections file' ,which I done , but they're not there? - 'confused'

would appreciate if someone with experience in extracting files to sims 2 could get in touch with me, I would like to know how all this is done - cheers!

minimum recommended is 300 watts, i only have a 250 watt but i heard you can usually get away with having a little less power than required. could i ruin my computer if it gets overloaded, and do you think the card would work?

At one time I had installed Quick Time, but in the end my computer would not run it for some reason, so I uninstalled it. However I have tried several ways to remove the icon below, but with no luck. It loads each time I boot computer. I right click to exit it each time, but it shows up next time I reboot??

I am with att&t , I have been paying around 28.00 for dsl.
I got a bill this morning and it is 41.44 , This dont include my phone. Last month I had to fight to get DSL off.
When I get my bill i start shaking...I am old on oxygen 24/7 and love my computer it is my only outlet...I want to know what I am paying so I can stay on it...I live on social security it dont sound like much but is for me.....Mary

I don't know where they come from i am afraid to open them incase they are full of virus's, i get about 2 a day this has been going on for the last 3 weeks, i keep deleting them but really want them to stop.
It was easy to spam when i was with AOL now i am with BT they want me to open them then forward on to them, Please can anyone help me ????

The ONLY thing I did to my computer was accept the update for IE 7. Rebooted my computer and now it won't work.

The computer shows the initial black and white screen, then the mobo screen, then it gets to the Windows screen where it has the blue loading graphic running from left to right. The screen is up for the standard length of time, then it goes black (instead of the normal Windows XP Pro blue) and the computer makes a click much like it does when I ask it to restart. And that's when it does just that, restart over and over, the same way, everytime. System worked perfectly before.

System:
INTEL Pentium D930 CPU,
ASUS P5P800-VM mobo,
Kingston 1GB DDR SDRAM (KVR400AK2/1GR),
Lite-On drive and Sony DVD burner,
2 harddrives (WD + Seagate ATA100)
TT power supply (6 months old)
** Most hardware is quite new; the PS being the oldest thing in there.
I do have Spybot, AVG and Ewido running, so I'm doubting a virus or 'bot.
I can't even get "Safe mode" option.
Any idea
