I deleted .Net from my computer, which is itself a user. Now it seems that my administrator account may not be recognized as an administrator, because anytime I uncheck anything from msconfig startup tab, I get an error message saying Access Is Denied, although it makes the change. The bad part is that it also sets ALL of my windows services to "Disabled" anytime I uncheck anything from msconfig startup tab. I then have to go through each one and set them back to Automatic. How do I fix this problem? I've tried checking my permissions in regedit and giving each user complete access. I'm also ran the security configurations from the mmc.

Reboot your computer into safemode F8
Choose start in safe mode with networking using the up arrow
Choose the operating system
You should see an administrator account there

run / msconfig / boot.ini tab and check all boot paths
follow the instructions

go to www.bitdefender.com and run an online virus scan while in safe mode.

Other than that, I would reinstall the xp operating system, but do not choose clean install, when it discovers that there is already and operating system on the c drive...choose the install anyway option then repair. Keep files and folder option. It will repair the file system and leave the files and folders intact.
Back up you important files first

There is no requirement in Scripture to believe that the one God is "three coequal, coeternal, consubstantional persons" in order to be saved. That Jesus is divine is evident from verses like Colossians 2:19 ("For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily."), 1 Timothy 3:16 ("God was manifest in the flesh"), and Revelation 1:8, 11 and 22:13 with Isaiah 44:6 (Jesus said, "I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty" and "I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last"; Jehovah said, "I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.") The problem with most teaching on the deity of Jesus Christ is that people interpret it through the "lens" of Trinitarianism. All of these Scriptures prove the deity of Christ; however, none of them prove the trinity. Unlike man, God is everywhere-present, all-knowing, and all-powerful; hence, He is able to maintain a divine existence and a distinct human existence and yet still remain indivisibly and absolutely One (Deuteronomy 4:6). "With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible" (Matthew 19:26). To sum it up, God the Father is the only true God (John 17:1, 3), and Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is God the Father, the only true God, manifest in the flesh (1 Timothy 3:16). To further expound on this point, the Holy Spirit is not another "person" in an alleged "trinity," but rather is the Spirit of God the Father, the only true God (Matthew 10:20). The Spirit of God is no more a distinct "person" than is the spirit of man.

I am sure that was a virus. I have similar problem like that in the past.
You need the latest anti virus application and virus definition. Restart and enter Safe mode. Then clean up your computer from viruses.

As administrator you need to change your password, sign off and sign back on again with the new password.

Then you should be accepted as administrator.
