Does it mean you'll receive the package in 2 business days??? I know stupid question.. I just wanna make sure!

My comp used to work fine. Now when I turn on Internet Explorer or Firefox Mozilla I get a pop-up (IE) or AOL starts (Firefox) asking me to connect to the Internet. The IE pop-up asks me if I'd like to connect to the Internet or Work Offline. The comp is on a cable modem and the first pages always load up, so I don't know why it insists that I connect via a regular modem. It started doing this a few months ago without any reason, from what I could tell. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am running Windows 2000 and when I select a jpeg to use as desktop background the files are greyed out and cannot be selected.

I bought a computer last year. Since then I got a virus and took it to a shop to clean it up. It was there 5-weeks. When I picked it up they told me there was "NO CHARGE". Right then and there the red flags went up. I've been reading this Forum paying attention to the questions about Viruses. "DELL TECH" helped me solve one of my problems with 'PestCapture'.Yesterday I started my computer in plain 'Safe Mode' without the internet and was asked for my Password, The only times I used a password were at Thanksgiving and Easter of '06. The one that i used at Thanksgiving worked.That tells me that the clean-up people didn't do a good job. I was told that they could actually put Spyware in the system. Is that true? Now I want to clean it out myself to the point that it's like I bought it new. I have Windows XP, no important files stored and lots of time. How do I do it. I'm a computer novice but follow directions well.=============THANX

I have a friend who is on Outlook Express and for some reason my emails and some other of her emails seem to be going directly into her deleted box, without them even having been opened. I posted a question about java a couple of days ago, and it looks like I have to install Java Virtual Machine, which means downloading Version 5.0 Update 10. Trouble is, it won't work on my system, which is Windows XP64 bit.

I already have Java 2 Runtime, SE v1.4.2, but it's not working for certain applications (although it does for others), and one new application in particular is necessary for my work.

I have two drives a dvd -cd. rw. and a sony cd rw. For some reason I cannot copy from disk to disk the sonic recorder help menu suggests that I enable Direct Memory Access from the system ,I have searched for this but to no avail , can't find it anywhere, do you guys have any suggestions.

I had accidently deleted some of my imprtant videos from my computer. It did not go to the recyccle bin as it was too large for it.
I had tried all softwares like Recover my Files, etc. but they require the full version to restoe the videos.
