when i tried to reinstall spysweeper it ask for a code ...I never got the code...when i bought the computer it came with alot of added features but i phoned the guy from the company he doesn't work there anymore???
what do i do I have no spyware protection b/c i can't get or know where the codes are

I have old diskettes full of information (wrtings, songs, photographs, etc) saved from various old computers i've had (all PC Windows). I am trying to open them now on a newer computer but even though the diskettes were all written with Windows/word the new computer says the diskette is no formatted properly and needs to be re-formatted (which will delete all the information on there). What could be the problem? how can i open the files? is there a backdoor?

I make a lot of music videos and upload the on youtube. I'm goin 2 get a new computer soon and need to know which one is better. Cuz I'm goin 2 use this computer 4 homewor (like typin up esaays and stuff) and makin videos and dont forget burnin alot of cd's and DVD's. So which one would be better 2 use!? when taking a still pic with my cam it comes out in a bitmap format which is no good to post on most websites -needs to be jpeg-anyway to change the way my cam takes theses stills?

My computer was running slowly so I opened windows task manager . I thought I would delete one item at a time and picked the biggest files. Well it opened and I started deleteing and then realized I was deleteing in the Processes window not the Applications window. So now I can't figure out how to go to restore as my start button is gone and I can't get to the my computer or control panel window to do a system restore.
What should I do!!!!?????

My CD drive can read disks ok, and it goes through all the motions when I try to save something on to CD, but it won't complete finalization (whatever that is). I've tried using both Windows Media Player and Nero, but it is to no avail, and furthermore the disks I try to back up my files on become unusable after each attempt. Can anyone help me with this? I should add, perhaps, that I've just upgraded my operating system, which is Windows XP Professional - the drive was working fine before I did this.

I am trying to clean out my temporary internet files, and for the most part, they are all deleting, but there are some files that refuse to delete or be renamed... they are named things such as "newsanalysis;kval=winnerstech;kword=manufacturing;kword=semiconductors;kword=semiequipment;kword=software;kword=technology;kword=telecom;kword=winners%26[2] and so on.. anyone have any idea what to do? i am clueless, any help would be greatly appreciated.

i have just started getting into fps online games,but the actual logging in ect puts me off some of the games
i have played only 2 up to now,battlefield2 and alien arena 2007(great game),but is there any other online games worth playing(free if possible)
i have also tried warock so dont recommend this,but as long as they are either fps,3rd person shooter or driving

I recently fried and got a new hardrive for my older PC... I can not upload my old PC OS (Windows XP Home) Because The manufacturer Did not give me the auth. code.... So I was browsing my system files (on my new PC), dunno why... and I found out that the cd is on the computer but in a folder.. so I put it in a rar format and downloaded WINISO... I found out that it doesn't Process .rar Format... So... What Do i Do To Go on? Another Convertion Program, possibly?

i got a new lap top and i live now in germany. so it came with windows vista and in german. I have a copy of windows EP in english. the saleman said i can run my english xp version. I have norton anti virus in english. A friend told me in i run vista german version my norton english version would not reconize the language.

will i find the same drivers that are on vista on xp???

My computer was running slower than it should be. A friend said this was probably because I had hundreds of photos on my hard disc.
So I copied the photos to CD, and then deleted them. I also deleted some programmes that I rarely use, but which were using up a lot of space on the hard disc.
After I had done this I found my computer seemed to be running faster.
I was puzzled as to why deleting the photos and other files speeded up the computer.
Could somebody explain this to me? I'd love to know why it happened. Thanks!
