I make a lot of music videos and upload the on youtube. I'm goin 2 get a new computer soon and need to know which one is better. Cuz I'm goin 2 use this computer 4 homewor (like typin up esaays and stuff) and makin videos and dont forget burnin alot of cd's and DVD's. So which one would be better 2 use!? Going by what you've said you'll be using it for, it's pretty much a draw. I think mac would be the best choice by far. Here's the only catch, mac will certainly be more expensive but it will work much better. The PC would still do what you need and be cheaper, but it would be way less reliable. It could die any time right in the middle of something important mac would never do that. So if you're willing to spend a little more money, go for the mac.

PC, defiantly. Macs are good for....nothing. CD and DVD burning works great with wmp, which u cant get on a mac. Microsoft office works better with PC's because ....its Microsoft. Then windows movie maker comes on every windows machine made in the last five years. That's really easy to use, + Most macs dont come with a firewire port and that's what you need for video editing. Then overall PC's are much cheaper. Trust me, PCs are much better.

Definitely a PC but don't use anything made by Microsoft as your operating system. Use whichever Linux distro you prefer. I suggest Ubuntu.

IMac because it saves room, easy to use for music and videos, no viruses, and great for burning cd's.
