i got a new lap top and i live now in germany. so it came with windows vista and in german. I have a copy of windows EP in english. the saleman said i can run my english xp version. I have norton anti virus in english. A friend told me in i run vista german version my norton english version would not reconize the language.
will i find the same drivers that are on vista on xp???

no this is a problem with vista and i would recomend sticking with XP

stick with xp for now, I'm waiting a while for all the little niggles to be ironed out and see what others think about it first, vista is early days yet.

Well, I have spoken to quite a few computer program types. and their general concensis is that we should all wait at least 6 mths. they also speculate that it will not be cheap to get all you will need to make Vista worth the effort Keep your xp or ep2 up do date, and enjoy..
