ok.. i was trying to scroll down a webpage and all of a sudden my scroller just stopped scrolling. you know, the scroll button in between the left click and the right click on the mouse. when it worked it used to make a clicking sound when i scrolled but now when i do it, it makes no sound. my mouse is connected correctly to my computer and my left click and right click work, but not the scroll button. it does not scroll anything at all when i move it. what happened to it?? and how can i fix it???

I made a video with iMovie HD on my apple computer. The video is about 430MB large, my main goal is to get it into html form, so i can post it in a blog, but all the hosts I have found only accept up to 100MB. I have found one site that allows up to 500MB, but it won't accept my file type :(
any suggestions on sites or anything?!

After a lot of work I got ssh up and running on my xp computer, I put putty on a usb drive and wrote a little batch script to connect (tunnel port 8080, port 80) and the ports are forwarded on a router. I succesfully connected to my home computer using putty of the usb drive on another machine. My problem is that I cannot surf firefox while throught the tunnel, I have socks proxy to local host 8080 but pages wont load, this is frustratig because Im connected and can browse the computer with ssh but I cant surf the net through it. Any suggestion would be appreciated.

I cannot get my yahoo games to work it keeps coming up and saying that an old version of client in your cache restart browser and come back to retieve current version or manually clear browser cache . this is driving me crazy i have tried everything any suggestions??

We have 1 PC hooked up through verizon DSL. I will be getting the new Macbook pretty soon now. How do I set up a network so both computers can be on the internet at the same time. What equipment do I need? Also, I will be moving into my own apartment in a few months, is there any additional equipment, other than any equipment needed for my previous question, I will need to be able to wirelessly access the internet in my own apartment (other than an internet service). can anybody help me to get my computer to boot up faster than 59secs,please,I have defragged,run bootvis but it is still slow.Have run registry cleaner,have got 18 things starting on start up and am not sure if this is why it takes so long to start,not sure what should start on boot up.Any help would be a great help,thanks in advance.

it freezes on the screen and i have to hit it a couple of times or unplug it to get it to work again. After I do that then it usually does it again like 30 min later.

Well, I want to create a Sims 2 Movie on Youtube, and i have a couple of questions. here goes:

1. do you need a video camera?
2. how to i bring the sims graphics and stuff to microsoft movie maker? (that's what i have)

THIS IS NOT RELATED TO YAHOO's Email Service but my ISP's Mail Server.
My ISP provider says that my incoming email from a friend and a relative, is not being blocked. However some of their emails never make it to me. AND some of my email never makes it to them.

Their ISP providers say no one is being blocked or filtered on their end either. If non of them are lying - what the heck is happening to those emails? For the record - neither my friend or relative send SPAM and neither do I.

I noticed this today when I went to Office Depot. Every single one of the laptops and desktops on display had the standard Vista demo video playing, and all of them, from the cheapest to the most expensive, had it lagging and very choppy. Now, most of these laptops can handle DVDs and high definition video, so why do they stutter on the stupid little Vista demo video? It seems like it would be bad for sales to have the display video performing so badly. This was also the case with the old XP computers as well.
I build my own computers so it doesn't really affect me, but it just seemed interesting.

So, can anyone tell me why this is true at every store I happen to be in? Just curious...

One of the most common complaints you encounter when working at IT help desk job is the frustrated end-user comes to you with a ugly face saying their PC is running slow and is giving them a serious problem.
Please advice me what you can do about a slow running PC (WinXP Professional or Win2000 client or even earlier version). Please give me as much things I can try as you can think of. Thank you for helping me with my job.
