I have a pavilion a1330n with a 256Mb ATI x300e video card and dial-up internet that gets no faster than 28.1Kb. I have no initial money to invest, just me and this computer.

A lot of people sell things on Ebay. Find some categories you are interested in and you will see what people are buying. You only need a few bucks to start with , finding treasures in thrift shops, your basement and garage sales can make you quite a bit! You will find that you will look at clearance items differently when you see them in stores. For instance , the Anniversary year of HarleyDavidson, my friend saw that there were different sets of Harley models on clearance. He went to all the Walmart stores within a 50 mile radius and bought them all up makeing at least a 500% profit selling them all on ebay . Name brand items are always good sellers!! Just one idea, probaly not the kind you were thinking of, but it can bring in a good income! Good luck , hope you will find some helpful ideas from your post!

You could use the computer to fill out lots of job applications and then go to work. That's always the best way to make money.

or you could go to one of those sites that pay you to play games and make some money that way
or if u have a camera you can go to one of those video sites (like metacafe) and make some money there if you have a really good video

Since you don't have any start-up fees you have saved, then I'd recommend selling old stuff you don't need on eBay. Works for everyone and it's extremely simple.

... If you start a blog on Blogger.com, then put ads on it (AdSense) they pay you money on a per-click basis. Just disable any pictures or whatever on your internet browser so it doesn't take too long...
