59 seconds is not a long time to boot up your computer. Mine takes about 2 minutes to start, when I first start it in the morning. This is the best way to do it. Push the start button, then go and make a cup of coffee, when you get back, you will be all ready to go..

that's not really that long but if you really want to boot faster then go to start >run type msconfig and click ok. in the window that opens look under services tick the box to hide all microsoft services then look at what is left if there are any services that are not required at start then untick them, then in the same window look under start up, same thing if there are items that are not required at start up untick them when you are finished click apply and ok. a new window will open asking if you want to restart or exit without restart click whatever you fancy. at the next boot up a window will open informing you that you have used the msconfig just tick the box to hide the message. obviously i do not know what is on your system so you will have to decide what is necessary and what isnt. hope this helps

59 not bad just to let you know mine take 53 I just timed it lol
AMD 1.2 GHz 512MB Ram XP Pro Lots of desktop items and never defraged I think you need to delete those start up files you don't need anything in you start up folder you can just delete but you may need to go further click start run type in msconfig click ok in the start up tab uncheck anything you don't need every time you start your computer that's all it will boot much faster if you get ride of at lease half those start up apps

Hi there!
One thing other then the ones above, that may speed up your boot time is deleting all unused desktop items. The more desktop items you have, the longer it takes to boot up. You could also consider getting more memory and not have that many startup programs.

Well....You first need to change the preferences of the things starting up while booting...Most of the things have an option start with windows..you decheck that option.....I hope your PC will start behaving.....and one more thing, you delete unnecessary icons from your desktop....Delete quick player n such things that takes up more time...Still if its acting up,then i'm afraid you gonna have to change your RAM to something of a higher version

59 seconds seems pretty quick, mine takes about 20 seconds longer than that.
