stupid dont you know everybdy is using pentium d and more and you are still using pentium 3 shame on you .jus through it and buy a new one . . . .
ok dnt be angry jus cool the computer may be slow because of 4 reasons first thing is check with any virus in your computer install antivirus check nad then uninstall it then you need to increase ur ram because that is the only thing which governs the sped .then you have to defragment the disk its in ---start---all programs---acesories--system tool --disk defragment. definately you will incrase your speed .then if still the problem exist delite all files which you dont want if that is boring 4 you install system mechanic that will automatically delite and arrange your files.if still the problem is ther ythen you have to uninstall the thems and all .......thks budddy have a nice day

Upgrading/increasing the RAM will only alow you to open up applications program simultaneously but will not make it faster.
It is the processor that makes it faster. Upgrading your old one will cost you almost buying new one. Change your computer with a new one with higher specs.

CCleaner is basically a dedicated cleaner which cleans the unwanted files in your computer...for eg. when you download or open any file or site, at many places it is registered in your computer that is not needed by the computer to work.....its a wonderful software that frees unwanted space...
Norton is basically a dedicated anti-virus.....
I sugess to still install CCleaner

You can find a free download of ccleaner here http://bit.ly/1sJimp9

Yes do upgrade your memory to at least 256MB of RAM, and add a second hard drive.

Re-install your operating system (after backing up your data).

Also, take this opportunity to install a second operating system on your computer. Get UBUNTU, it's free, reliable and up to date.

1, delete temporary internet files
2. defragment hard drive
3. do scans for spyware and viruses to delete
4. go do add and remove software programs and check to see if you need the programs if not delete them
5. Check to see if you have unecessary items in your start up menu that start up like realaudio update or google task bar or other add on things.
6. check the inside of your computer if it has dust bunnies clean it! you can vaccum it or use that spray air in a can.

1. Delete all the temporary files from c:\temp ( or your temporary folder)
2. Clear Temporary internet files from your browser cache
3. Remove any un-needed programs

This could improve things a bit
but best thing to do , if you have it as a possibility

simply re-install your OS
