i seem to have many problems onmy pc(acer laptop)running windows xp.when i run avg i get the message change for the above how can i do this.also i frequently get the message ,device detector has encounted a problem and needs to close down.help please.

Check if it says .d11 or .dll.
For .dll
As it only says change this could be due to a windows update.
This is merely informing you that the file has changed not that it is infected
For .d11
Posible spyware / adware
I think you will find that it is .dll and automatic updates or something similar has changed the length of this file

Try to get driver updates for your laptop at the manufacturers site. AVG reports similar things on my PC so I think it's normal. Good luck!

It could be a corrupt system file. If you run system file checker, it can repair all windows system files

It changes mine also , it is ok.
