i have somehow knocked off the toolbar for font size, style type etc and also the bulllet points and numbers. cant get it back anywere and its wreckin my head. please please help !!!

View->Toolbars
Make sure Standard and Formatting are selected

View then Toolbars then click the Toolbar(s) you want to see (in your case, likely, Formatting)

If you click on :
Tools, Customise, Commands and then in the categories box choose Format, then left click on the boxes you need and drag them up to your toolbar, this should work

right click on the toolbar area, and select menus from teh drop down box...

Try putting the curser at the top where it should be and right click, then click the menu for what you want.....Hope that works!

in top- view -> toolbar-> formating :)
