Can using a cd created by someone cause problems on my computer? Such as copied movies or ipod music?

It could contain a virus, trojan or some other nasty, but you should be running an up to date virus scanner anyway.

Depends if you trust the person who created it, really.

Usually there will be few problems, since media files themselves tend not to have nasties in them.

Yes, if the cd that was created contains a virus or other type of malware

Put the cd in the d drive, and run a virus scan on the d drive..it will check you cd.
