i just downloaded a song, and it's .rar file, and i don't know what it is. is it similar with zip file? how do i open this .rar file? because my laptop can't. should i download or install something?

Yes, you are right. It is like a .zip file. I would recommend ALzip or WinRAR to open the .rar file.

it is similar to a zip file but you will need to download WinRAR in order to extract the file. WinRar is a free program and you can search for it.

it is a compressing file extension....it works better than .zip and even process faster.
