I have always had the opening toolbar with the time and date at the bottom of my screen, the kids got on here last night and now the toolbar is on the left hand side of the screen, and I don't like it there! How do I get it back to its original location? Thanx!

Hi Everyone. This is Imtiyaz.

Well, I have been using Yahoo Mail for a very long time for sending only text based e-mails. Now there's a need for me to send some pictures not in an attached form but that should display on the Body itself.

I have subscribed to lot of Yahoo Groups and receive mails from them and I used to notice that their pictures are displayed on the body itself without any attachments.

When I tried it, I was unsuccessful. I copied a picture to the clip board and when I pasted it, there was nothing.

So, please help me, how I can acheive this Objective?

We are finally updating our very out of date Windows 98 PC. (A dell.) Buying another dell that comes with Vista installed. Is there an easy way to transfer all the data? The most important program is Quick Books - but we have other files on there as well. Thanks for any help you can offer.

Window told me yesterday it was out of virtual memory i had a virus and spyware at the time and am now 100% sure its gone the message has gone away but my computer still seems a little sluggish since yesterday maybe something like registry cleaner would help? what do you think?

Windows tells me to: click start, click shutdown, and then , in the dropdown list click shutdown then in the windows dialog box, click restart and then click ok then windows says:when you see the messge please select the operating ststem to start press f8 use the arrow keys to highlight safe mode and then press enter. but wheni click the start menu the only options i have are log off and turn off computer none of which feature the word shutdown or safe mode. cand anyone tell me how i can reboot my system in safe mode and then reboot in normal mode afterwards? many thanks for reading.

on saturday i wrote like ten pages and saved it to the computer in my college's library. then i sent it to my email so i can revise when i get home. when i checked my email yesterday i found out that i sent myself a wrong file. so i came to library today and used the exact same computer and i can find my freaking paper i swear i'm about to have nervous breakdown and its due today!!

Rewritable disc, size: 4.7GB; length: 2 hours.
Files, size: 700MB; length: 1 hour 30 minutes.

Computer only allows me to burn one file per disc stating that no more fit. What am I doing wrong?

I can understand that time-wise, more files will not fit but surely one 700MB file won't fill a 4.7GB disc?

Can someone explain this please?

I have a new laptop that I bought two weeks ago, and its been fine until one day I started it up and the login screen had changed from the default Windows XP home login screen, to the professional version (example here: http://www.windowsnetworking.com/img/gif_wxp/wxplgn09.gif), its also incredibly slow to load after I type in my login details, and takes about one minute to load, from its old 20 seconds. I have defragmented it several times and this has done nothing. Any ideas?

someone took a picture of me on their camera phone that I liked. he sent it to my phone, and I e-mailed it to myself. his camera turned it into a .bin file. I can open it, and look at it, but I can't save it as a jpeg. how can I just turn it into a jpeg to save to my comp?
