Better for what?

PCs are the gamers' choice due to availability/compatibility of games for PC.

Mac are the designers' choice for intuitiveness and incredible design and/or sound technology.

I have used both and prefer the Mac.

Why? I am a designer who also uses her Mac as a recording studio.

I also troubleshoot The Sims for PC and it is a never ending job. One because more PC users play the game and two because PCs require you to have "technological sympathy" as well as common sense.

:-)
