I use "mailto:" links a lot and know how to add a subject. But is there a way I can add a message also?
And if I can add a message, how do I leave the 'Send To:' blank so that someone could put their own contacts in?
If you know and could explain, it's much appreciated.

I have dial-up and today I was on my computer checking my email and my daughter had a car accident out of state, she tried repeatedly to get in touch with me but couldn't ... I need help, what can I do because
I have dial-up, I can't afford to pay for 2 lines so how can I talk on the phone and be on the computer at the same time...... In my area, dial up is the only option...... is there a box or device or computer program/software that will enable me to do both at the same time? I would greatly appreciate any ideas you all might have, and could benefit if you give me details on what to look for and what type of device would work. Thanks to all who reads this and I hope you guys have a wonderful night..

At the moment when I do add a photo, the receiver just gets a little box with a red cross in it and they have to click on the actually name of the attachment. This is annoying when you want to post say 20 photos. What i dont understand is sometimes it shows them, other times it doesnt!

I have a DELL Dimension B110. I had to redo everything on it. I mean erase everything and start all over do to a blue screen error. Then I got a virus that affected my .exe files. Got rid of the virus but needed to repair the files that it messed up. Tried to do a repair with my windows disk and had to leave so I stopped it mid way through. Apparintly that was a mistake because now when I try to continue my keyboard stops working. When I got back and turned my computer on my screen resolution is all screwed up and it won't let me change it back. It only has 16 bit. What do I do now? I really don't want to have to start all over again. I will if I have to but I really don't want to. This is driving me crazy because everything on my screen is huge as if I were almost blind or something. Please help, somebody, please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I installed IE7 because starting a few days ago I have been unable to log onto a sight that is required for my job. This is a sight of the college I work for, and it has been in use for quite sometime. Since Installing IE7, I get a message when I try to log onto that sight that states the sight has not been validated or, the validation has expired, and it recommends that the sight not be logged onto. Is this because IE7 is more discriminatory? Since this is a trusted sight, would it be safe to log onto it anyway? Or would it be better to go back to the origional Internet Exployer and figure out why I cannot log onto the sight?

Ok.. lol this may sound pretty dumb. I'm not sure how to quite explain it. So here it goes, so I open up internet explorer.. and everything loads fine, the default window opens up and loads perfectly.. but then when I restore the window down, into a smaller view.. and click.. lets say onto instant messanger for a while, then click back onto my internet explorer window, the window starts shaking, and it like trembles very quickly for about 5 seconds. What is going on? Is this normal? Does my computer have some sort of virus??? I'm so confused.

my computer keeps restarting as its turning on, while its on the white emachine page it beeps 3 times then when on the windows xp loading page it restarts, any ideas? ive tried everything i know, checked all the cables,cards, making sure they where in all the way. any ideas?

I have a PC...downloaded an up date for a virus program...after turning it back on I got a sign that said "buffer overrun detected. It also
said: ProgramC /Program files/Internet Explorer/explore.exe. at the top of the notice it said Microsoft Visual C++Runtime Library. I am not really computer literate so please explain what to do like I am a baby.

i dont have a router and need to know how to configure my computer or my internet to allow incoming access. i play WC3 but i cant host custom games because my computer doesnt allow incoming access and i need to know how to change it so i can. any help would be great thanx in advance
