my computer keeps restarting as its turning on, while its on the white emachine page it beeps 3 times then when on the windows xp loading page it restarts, any ideas? ive tried everything i know, checked all the cables,cards, making sure they where in all the way. any ideas?

Try checking all the cables, etc. Just in case ;) May need a bios update. Try using a friend's computer and visiting the website for your brand of computer (i.e compaq.com for a compaq), and downloading the latest bios update. Try saving that to a disc and running it on your computer. Mine was doing the same thing, and it was the bios. If this doesn't help, try searching the site linked below. Best of luck :)
