I'm doing a movie where I need the instrumental for a certain song - how do I cut the vocals off it?
The song in this case (if it's of any relevance) is the Bring It On 1 opening cheer (aka I'm sexy! I'm cute! I'm popular to boot!)

Hi

You could use Sound Forge 8.0. A superb software designed to edit tracks.

You can try a Google Search to download the software with the Keygen.

You simple have to import the track into Sound Forge and from Effects Menu - choose Noise Gate and apply the necessary setting.

you cant remove the vocals, but you could try an audio library and see if they have it without the words, and be careful with copyright laws and make sure you credit the writer of the song, not just the fact that it was in the movie bring it on.

Take it to a recording studio and have them separate the vocals from the instrumental.
