how do I change a bin file into a jpeg?

someone took a picture of me on their camera phone that I liked. he sent it to my phone, and I e-mailed it to myself. his camera turned it into a .bin file. I can open it, and look at it, but I can't save it as a jpeg. how can I just turn it into a jpeg to save to my comp?

Right click on the file.
Choose properties> Click Change> Choose Paint or Adobe Photoshop if you have one> Then save it as filename.jpg>Click OK

Do not Overwrite the old filename. Just to make sure..

Are you sure ?
Software like photoshop will handle all kinda files.
Now try to change your file name, if your file is xxx.bin, change it to xxx.jpg
