it's a ati radeon 9700 pro. my monitor was blacking out and saying that there wasn't any signal and unplugging it and plugging it back in worked a few times but after awhile it stopped working. so i opened up my computer and found that the fan on the card wasn't working and the card was severely overheated. i switched to an older card to use my computer now but i wish i could use my ati card. does anyone know if there is something i cann do to fix it or is it lost beyond hope now. thanks for advance for any good responses.

I know we've moved past floppies, but I was making sure that a floppy didn't have important information and I got it stuck in the drive. I wrenched out the disk, but the metal spring-loaded clip is still inside. How do I get it out?

Processing power is not solely dependent on the type of processor in the computer. In both personal computers and larger computers, several factors can affect the power of processors. Write a 1 page essay that explains how some of the following impact processing power and speed: Pipelining; The system clock; Processor upgrades; Coprocessors; Parallel processing; RAM configuration; Cache; Memory access times; and Bus width.

I recently had to reinstall my version of Windows XP home addition. Everything seems to be working well now, except for the fact that I have no sound. My modem beeps when advisor messages pop up on my computer when a windows alert sound would normally play. I know my speakrs are working properly, and when I go to device manager it shows a Multimedia Audio Control, though it shows up with a yellow question mark. When I click on the controller it tells me The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28). It is an onboard sound card, and acorrding to Belarc advisor my mother board model is a ECS M863 1.0 What do I need to do in order to have sound again...
