I live in Arizona. It's hot, dry and dusty. How hot is too hot to use the computer? Will using it when it's 100 or hotter damage it?

I got it as a present from my fiance last January but last weekend it started acting up. It still works but I almost can't see anything on the monitor...first the IBM logo can hardly be seen then Windows then totally nothing...please help!!! I'm so upset for a few days coz I can't even chat with my fiance...right now I'm renting a pc =(

I got an external HDD for my laptop I have not been able to do a F****** thing with it. Just look in my profile you will see what I mean. This error I'm getting says "delayed write failed cannot save file E:\ data has been lost please save data somewhere else" I'm not even trying to save anything when it gave me this error. My computer totally froze so I hit ctrl+alt+del and this the stupid message came. I NEED SERIOUS HELP BECAUSE I WANT TO THROUGH THIS STUPID F****** THING OUT OF A MOVING CAR ON THE FREEWAY IN RUSH HOUR TRAFFIC. i reformated my laptop recenty and the guy at the computer shop said that i would loose all my files , songs etc when i reformat it.. is there anyway that i can back up all my files and songs in my C drive so that nothing would be deleted??

I have a dell laptap that was been running very slow. the cpu is always runinng at a 100%. I have ran viurs scaners, ad-ware and spyware programs on it and nothing was found.

I would like input from those of you who actually use a windows (pentium) based laptop to do your video editing. What type of computer, type of video card, size of hard drive amount of memmory, how much editing you do and if your content with your set-up. Please, no Mac users on this one, I know it is probably the better choice, But I'd like to hear from the windows users now.
Thanks! I've been using a desktop with adobe premiere. I would like to stay with premiere, only because of the "learning" factor and cost of new software. I have been doing my homework, I know I need a dedicated video card (Looking at ATI 9700 w/ 128 mb) and at least a P4 with about a 100gb hard drive(does the speed really matter?) I'm also thinking of 1000 ddr mem, but would 512 be sufficient? or do I need 2000? I do alot of video, and want a machine I can travel with, but I don't have "throw away" money (plus, I'm a really cheap B*******!) So any help here will be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks in advance!

I would like to purchase an iBook in a few years, but I went on the website (I check everyday) and it wasn't there anymore! Then I went to the Apple store in Rockaway and all they had was macbooks! And Macs. A true Nightmare. Are they still making them, or are they discontinued?
