according to dell my brand laptop is so technologlically advanced that nobody makes a pc card to fit the slot. they have no idea when or if anybody will make a card to fit it. anybody know anything about it?????????

I have a Locked harddrive i dont know who kept password in my harddrive how do i get through it.?
i have already tried taking out the CMOS battery and tried to jump into the BIOS setup, i can go to the BIOS setup but i cant remove the password from the harddrive, therefore my harddrive is not working now.

i even tried john ripper it didnt worked

I am planning to purchase a Notebook pc. I would like it to be fast and operate smoothly(fast processor and lots of RAM). The only networking device i need is WiFi, and while i don't play games very often, i would like the ability to play modern 3d games on the occasion that i do. with my old one i was unable to install games because it did not have a 3d accelorater, so this time around i want to get a machine with one of those. as far as size goes, small and thin is good. I am considering a cd/dvd burner, but im not sure if i want that, because i'm trying to stay below $1,000. I would like to find the best deal on this machine that i can, so the cheaper, the better. my goal is $1000 or below, but i may go over. I need a full warranty that will cover accidents that are my fault such as droppages, spillage, or electrical shock. Thank you very much for your help!

Don't worry, not a wanted ad! I am looking for a laptop with decent battery life, 256mb ram, XP (although not essential), USB port and the ability to connect wirelessly to Tiscali Broadband. Am I in cloud cuckoo or is this a possibility? What models should I be looking at? Its for my wifes midwifery course so it only needs to be able handle Internet, email and word processing. which memory brand should i get for my laptop fujitsu n5010?

k-byte, patriot, kingston, corsair, or muskin?

and is it ok to mix that with another brand of memory with just the diff of brand and size? same speed everything just micron technology and 256mb.

and also i noticed that my laptop says i can put pc2700 ddr333 in there which the freq is 133 or 166 and its running on 166 2.5-3-3-7 right now... well my laptop says on cpuid that its 200 fsb and 800 bus speed...so shouldnt i be able to put a pc3200 ddr400? cause wouldnt that read 200mhz for the freq on cpuid?

There is an fpit driver for Fujitsu Stylistic LT-series hardware at

It is object code only (no source code is published). The standard xorg (XFree86) driver hasn't worked since the Red Hat 7-series releases.

The Bordeaux fpit_drv.so works without modification on Fujitsu Stylistic ST-4110P hardware. It does not work on Stylistic LT-series hardware. You must use the older fpit_drv.o driver for which there is no source.

Does anyone have the source or spec for the older driver?

I use it at home with its Wifi technology. The other computers in this house do just fine and don't disconnect randomly. My laptop says the signal is pretty strong, but it'll just randomly... go AWAY, then come back a few seconds later. It's really annoying. Is there any way to stabilize the connection, or is there an advanced option I need to change? In properties, there are several ways to connect, but I just used the defaul, which is Ad Hoc mode. Could this have something to do with it?

i am going to purchase the black macbook pro and i am most likely going to max it out at 2 gb of ram. now, it says that the macbooks use pc 5300 ram. would pc 5400 667 200pin be able to work with it
