You gotta go for the 17". You'll really appreciate the extra real estate on the monitor when you get into an in depth software program.

According to the highly acclaimed, if somewhat laconic publication "The Macintosh, Greatest Thing Since Sliced Bread?"(Oxford Press 1999). The Macbook Pro does not fair well and this is true of both the 17" and 15" flavours. I would recommend the book, it's a spiffing yarn...good luck...

I would say you want the maximum screen size, so the 17".
