it wont type some of the letters sometimes, the assignments are off, i type the letter ''o'' and a ''6'' is typed. what can i do? IT"S refurbished

numbers lock is on!!!!

press the FN key along with F11 that will take the num lock off, and you're set

Seems you turned on your numbers lock. Try holding down the function key (on the bottom next to ctrl, it has "fn" in a box) and then tap the scroll key (or look for the one with "num lk" in a box), it's on the top group of keys. This should turn off the numbers lock. If that doesn't work, you may need to replace the key board. Sorry.

Your Number Lock is set to lock. There should be a key "Fn" with blue letters on it. Hold that down and find the key "Numlock" and press it. It's probably on the top row of keys. It will go back to normal.

Buy a new keypad for about $15 & install it yourself. It is really easy!

try pushing the numer caps button that might work. if it doesn't take it to someone who knows computers.
