i am going to purchase the black macbook pro and i am most likely going to max it out at 2 gb of ram. now, it says that the macbooks use pc 5300 ram. would pc 5400 667 200pin be able to work with it

OH FLOODY 1000 WINDOWS IS BAD!!!! dont listen to him/her MAc is way better than windows got thats the worst advice anyone can give out . windows over mac pfft NO and i dont know but dont take that guys/girls advice its the worst EVER!!

it is the same just a tad bit faster 675 vs 667

Yes, I personally have a toshiba satelite notebook and I expanded the memory. Chances are it will work for you too. Hopefully, you have a good notebook, If I were you, I'd get a windows. Good luck.
