I would consider what you are using it for as the primary decision maker. Tablets come in two forms--a Slate (no integrated keyboard) and a Convertible (opens up like a notebook, but the screen swivels and folds down on top of the keyboard).

Either choice, like all notebooks, is about tradeoff.

If you are looking to use this at home and occasionally take advantage of the Tablet functionality, you want a convertible andthe Lenovo product and the Gateway offering are solid performers that are basically mid to high end notebooks with Tablet functionality (full size hard drive, DVD RW options, full size keyboard, Core Duo CPUs, etc).

If you travel a lot of weight is a major issue, I suggest the Slate product from Motion PC (www.motioncomputing.com). You sacrifice options like Optical drives but you get a trade off in weight and portability.
