also i tought apple was "user friendly" why are they so uptight with their phones i mean most people bought them some for 600$ some for 400$ you still GOT YOUR MONEY now let me fuc! with MY PHONE

Say you're building a pc with all parts you bought online. You put it together and it doesn't post, how are you supposed to figure out which part is defective in the scenario that there is a defective part and you didn't just do something wrong?

I want my computer to be fast, good for watching movies and some games. But mostly FAST. What is better?
E6750 CORE2 DUO 2.66GHz 775 (intel)
OR
AM2 64 X2 6000+ (AMD)
I've heard AMD doesnt perform very well as intel. But AMD is a good budget item. But please please tell me which will be better for my needs

I built a new PC and everything i placed correctly. However, when I start it up it will run for a few secs and just as it is bout to get past all of the bios stuff it shuts down. Sometimes it will start back up again and shut down again. The only thing that isn't new and guaranteed compatible (that I know of) is my power supply which is 430W. Have any thoughts man?

Hi, i have no idea why whenever i insert a disc to view pictures on my computer, nothing appears on the destop. I cannot locate the disc anywhere.
Could someone tell me, maybe i have not downloaded something so i can actually watch movies or burn discs. What is missing??

Running XP Home.
Volume C: is now almost full and I think this is slowing down my pc. I always have to cleanup to gain space. I can't find anything big that is clogging the C (none that I want to take away).
The other 2 volumes have a lot of files on them.
MY PLAN: buy an external drive; copy all files from 2 volumes to the new drive.
But how do I get rid of the 2 volumes and have C take up the full hard drive?
Will I be putting drive C in danger by doing ... whatever you are going to suggest?

AMD processors provides 128 kb for L1
and Intel provides just 64 kb
but L2 is 512kb for amd and 2/4 mb for intel
and what relation it has with ram's Mhz
bcoz some one said to me that if we are useing E6550 or greater then the 800mhz and 677mhz ram will have not much difference plz try to solve all question

I'm not sure how old this thing will be, but it's my mom's current computer, and next week when I'm home for T-day I will get it and bring it home. I would guess it's only a few years old, so it probably has XP on it and a decent amount of space. I want to clean up the HD and make this computer as new-seeming as possible. If she does not have the original disks for XP how can I reformat or whatever else needs to be done? What else should I do with an older computer like this?

Well i a Gateway computer that has windows xp with it when i got it like.... 3 years ago or so. So i turned off my computer and i turned it back on a while later and it was loading to get to the desktop of my computer but this black screen saying Start windows normally or pick Safe mode, etc... and i clicked Start Windows Normally and it seemed to work just fine until after it went back to load the same Black screen again........ and again.... wat the hell is wrong with my computer lol i have installed Spy sweepeer for my anti-virus protection and i have like 0 virus's on my cpmputer that i know of.. please help?? if you need more information ill just add more on the details. =]

I am looking to upgrade a 4 year old Dell Desktop. I have found Mercury KMV800M Motherboard (new) with a preinstalled Athlon 2700+ CPU for a reasonable price. I do not use this machine for gaming, mostly web surfing, some photo shop stuff, and limited word processing. This is a family computer, and does not need to be the fastest or most decked out machine out there.

My computer slows right down when i've got three web pages open (Firefox browser). For example if i'm signing into MSN while watching something on youtube, the song stops and starts etc and the whole computer just seems to slow down. Do i need more memory? I don't have much stuff stored on it - i've got an external hard drive which i keep most of my things on. I've defragmented, ran spyware, got up to date virus prog etc.

all of the sudden my internet went down at my work. We have 3 computers on one router - the other computers have internet just fine. so it's obviously my computer. i restarted the router. still didnt help. i tried to go to ipconfig/release then /renew and it wont work. Just says that no 'media is connected'. i also tried to just let windows 'repair' it and it got stuck on 'renew ip address' and just said it couldn't do it.

Any help would be MUCHLY appreciated!!!!!

I have already DeFragmented, and Cleaned up the disk space, I have installed Antispyware and done a full scan. I have deleted old files that I don't need anymore.
