I built a new PC and everything i placed correctly. However, when I start it up it will run for a few secs and just as it is bout to get past all of the bios stuff it shuts down. Sometimes it will start back up again and shut down again. The only thing that isn't new and guaranteed compatible (that I know of) is my power supply which is 430W. Have any thoughts man?

If your computer has a sound card and a graphics card and many other things hooked up to it, and the cards are very powerful as well as your CPU, then yeah you might need a more powerful PSU, usually about 600W should do the trick.

You may want to re-seat your RAM and make sure its down in ther tight, it should snap when it goes in if this is a new board.
