My computer that I have the MX 4000 in is a Dell Dimension 300
OS-Windows XP Home
CPU-Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.00Ghz
RAM-512MB-looking to upgrade

Whoever can tell me if the graphics card is interchangeable and tell me what kind of RAM my computer can take if so, gets the 10 points.

You don't have a PCI-Express slot in your PC. So the answer is "no way" regarding the video card.

I'm not finding a Dell Dimension 300. Perhaps you left out a zero, and it's really Dimension 3000? If so, that takes DDR SDRAM.

first post is correct in that you cannot run a pci-e card in an agp slot. If you want a better agp than the gf4 4000 it is not hard to do. Check out the nvidia 7900gs or the ati x1950. They will rock over the gf4 4000.

No, it's not possible. The geforce mx 4000 is an AGP based card, which means your motherboard is AGP.

The 8800 GTS is PCI-Express based, so it is not compatible.

Er, you showed a picture of an PCI Express card and an AGP card.

If your computer has an AGP slot only, you can not buy a PCI Express graphics card no matter what the brand.
