Hi, i have no idea why whenever i insert a disc to view pictures on my computer, nothing appears on the destop. I cannot locate the disc anywhere.
Could someone tell me, maybe i have not downloaded something so i can actually watch movies or burn discs. What is missing??

hello,

this is very tough to answer. Nevertheless, first things first.

Go to start->control panel->system->hardware tab->device manager and then try to check if you have a "DVD-CDROM" element in there.

Click the element and then check if it has a question mark on it. If none, then that means you have no driver for it. Go www.dell.com, type the model of your pc and then get the driver at their site.

Hi. Click on 'My Computer' and the drive should appear. You need a burner of course to burn anything and a DVD reader to view DVDs.
