Obviously frost or ice developing on the processor would be disatrous, as it will turn immediately to water when it thaws, thus destroying my PC.
Is frosting on a peltier processor cooler really likely to be a problem?

My computer is slow and I think it has a virus. I think I have to start again by wiping out everything and starting all over like it is a new computer. What does it mean to zip a file? Will more fit onto a back-up disk? Any advice is welcome. Thanks.

I currently have a crosshair mb with a 150g raptor (10,000 rpm) and a 300g west dig (7200rpm)...I just purchased another raptor to create a Raid 0. My first question is, will I have to wipe my current raptor in order to set it up? My second question is, should I take my OS (xp 64 bit) off my 300 gig all together and put my OS on the raptors? Will that make it faster than having my os on the 7200rpm 300gig? Which is the best way to configure it? Thanks in advance!

Okay nerds, freaks and computer geeks! Answer this... What in the wide wide wide world of sports is the difference between a AMD processor and a Intel processor? I'm just new in owning a PC so i'm exploring evrything so I download everything i think will do good to my PC tru Window's download site,now my Internet Explorer keeps on warning me that they have to close evrytime i Surf the Internet.
Is it because of my Downloads that cause the problems in my Internet?or Internet Explorer has just problems at this time?

Hey guys - I have an old computer that I want to get rid of. It's taking up space!

I hear throwing out a computer in the garbage is like one of the worst things you could ever do to the environment. However, I would like to get rid of it the proper way. Any suggestions? Its a desktop computer with all sorts of peripherals.

I'm building a computer for my aunt right now and she has all the parts seperate and we bought the case. We've put all the components in but when we turn it on, the computer suddenly turns off. Sometimes it turns off right at the second we turn it on and sometimes it loads up all the way to 'no boot device' (since we have to Windows installed on it yet) screen. But it just randomly turns off. Sometimes we even see the error 'CPU temprature error'. But the fan looks to be working perfectly fine. Also, the power supply that we put in is a 20 pin one while the mother board takes a 24 pin one.

Here are the specs:

Pentium D 3.20 Ghz
1024MB RAM
256MB GeForce 7300 GS
80GB IDE Hard Drive
380W Power supply

Motherboard: Asus p5pl2-E
Power supply: Green Power

I want to upgrade my hard to 1TB atleast to 2TB at most. It's on a HP zseries media center computer. Do you all think It's possible to upgrade it to that capacity. If not, any other media center which accomodates that much hard drive?
