i need to reformat my computer because it is infected with viruses,help me pls.!

Why not just get good anti-virus software and kill the viruses?? Reformatting is a lot more time-consuming and tedious, plus you wind up losing stuff you might want later.

Back up your personal data to DVDs or a external hard drive.
Put In either your Windows cd or your systems restore cd.
Select that cd drive as the boot drive
Setup should run and you just follow the prompts
Make sure you pick the option to reformat the drive before install.
When Windows is installed, also install a good Antivirius / anti spyware program and scan the personal data you backed up before putting it back on your PC.
Also, certain HPs, Compaqs, and Dells have a restore partition built into the hard drive.
When the PC starts up you should see a message stating what key to hit to start the restore process. Hit it before the system starts loading Windows.

Do a System Restore. Thats always works for me and virus is gone
