Obviously frost or ice developing on the processor would be disatrous, as it will turn immediately to water when it thaws, thus destroying my PC.
Is frosting on a peltier processor cooler really likely to be a problem?

In 1834 Jean C.A.Peltier discoverd that the passage of an electric current through the junction of two dissimilar conductors can either cool or heat this junction depending on the direction of current.
this was the moment jean c.a peltier discovered the method of extreme cooling
in regards to your question i cant see there being a problem with ice on the processor, but thats if it stays as ice,as you have correctly noted, thawing would be a disaster, covering your motherboard in water and destroying your p.c
so the frosting shouldnt be a problem, however unless you are going to be doing some real serious overclocking a peltier cooler is a bit o.t.t
a zalman CNPS9500-LED Aero Flower Cooler would be a ideal cpu cooler and alot safer aswell, these are very poular with enthusiasts who buiding core 2 duo based p.c,s
i hope this has helped
good luck mate!
