Try the new Intel iMac. iMacs are great!

If you live near an Apple Store you can go there and try them out. Or if your library has some new iMacs, you can play on them for free.

I've used both, I've repaired both. I did tech support for ten years for a school district. I had to repair maybe 15 Macs in that time. I did mostly hard drive replacements and installed more RAM. On the Windows computers, the school district had over 400 infected with viruses which required complete erasure of the hard drives and reinstall of all the software. I had one old Mac running system 9 that had a virus. So if you want to spend your days running virus scans, downloading the new virus definitions and upgrading your system, then get a Windows computer. If you want a computer that is easy to use, has the best tech support and has no known MacOs X viruses, then get a Mac. It comes with all the software you need and is wifi ready out of the box. It will open your Windows files and if you really really need to run Windows, you can install it on Mac in a separate partition using BootCamp.

I've used both and I have to say, Windows is much better than Apple. I've discovered there is a definite reason Apple advertises it's ability to run Windows -- because the whole world uses it! Buying a Mac is just an easy way to throw your money away when you could buy a better PC from Toshiba or Lenovo.

Try it, I have always used Windows too. My girlfrinds owns a mac and i´ve used it a lot, it´s hard at the beginning, but when you get use to it, it's really amazing. I will buy one in december, just have to save some cash...
