Make sure you have the computer on a hard surface where plenty of airflow takes place. Make sure the exhaust fans are working and the power supply fans are running.

Aside from that, you may have an outdated video driver that needs updating.

You may be out of virtual memory to store the video. Increase the maximum allowed memory in Control Panel > System > Performance > Settings

Usually due to memory or video card getting ready to fail permenantly.
