I recently bought a Sony VAIO AR320E which comes with a T5500 processor. Most of my system actually says that its a T5500, but when i go into Device Manager the processor comes up with T7200 2Ghz, have i some how gotton a better processor or is my system playing me?

I realize that games i play calls for windows 2000 or better operating system and know that the other computer will have to have that operating system as well
but will there computer reconize my harddrive? And load the game or will there be a registery issue?

My computer specs:
Comp is about 3-4 years old
Dell Dimension 2400
Intel Pentium 4 CPU
2.20GHz, 1.12Gb of RAM
Ati Radeon 256MB Video Card

When I play certain games like Guild Wars or Rakion, games like that. My CPU Usage is at 100%. Why is that? Is there a way I can fix that?

I have a dell home computer. There is a whole bunch of things that are downloaded on it that I do not know how to get off. Instead of kids erasing the programs they right clicked and deleted the name of the program but not the program itself. They are not in the add and remove in the control panel. How can I tell whats on my computer besides the control panel.

Hi all, I hope someone can help me. I tried to install warcraft 3 frozen throne, and everything was fine, but after installation, i tried to open my frozen throne game, it takes a long time for me to load it, otherwise, black screen appears and doesnt allow me to minimise or do anything to it, so I restarted my comp and i was able to start until Windows XP loading, the whole screen went black, safe mode is fine, therefore i did system restore, and then installed a Yahoo game grandmother tycoon, and when i tried to play the game, on full screen, it went black again. Now my windows xp works after system restore, but it takes a long time to load..if not it will be at black screen for a long time..I hope someone can help me on this and let me know if its my graphics card problem? Im using on board graphics card. Thanks in advance

I recently got a new 500W Antec PSU and after a couple minutes, my PC abruptly shuts off before I can run windows. I checked the temp and it was only 53 DEG Celcius so I know it wasn't overheated. I don't have any screws loose in there so there are no shorts happening. Can anyone give me any more leads?

I went on the computer one day and it said i had a viruse. so i ran AVG Free, Windows Defender, and Ad-Adware SE Personal and then when i restarted it wen it says welcome for windows XP it takes way longer to load and wonce it goes the Desktopd wallpeper goes then it turns black. I'm tired and I'm at a loss. I thought this was a surmountable problem. Apparently I was wrong. Anyhoo...I've done all of the simple things. Then, I everything else I tried to find to fix it...I either didn't have, couldn't figure out or it didn't work. I know this sounds idiotic...but, as I said, I'm tired. If you think you've got the answer as to why I'm getting this message and why the Mac isn't reading either of two different blank discs that I just need to add some frickin' pictures to, let me know.

i want to make my desktop computer somewhat portable by giving it a hookup to send video/audio to a TV via red,yellow,white plugs because the monitor weighs more than the rest of the hardware combined, allowing me to move the computer to another house with minimal effort.
