can anyone tell me how to convert avi movie files on a pc to dvd format so i can burn to dvd and play on any dvd player

i downloaded a program called dvd santa.. i got it from downloads.com

its dead easy to use, just drag ur file into it n it does it for you.

yes its is dead easy to do there are several ways of doing it you can get DVD Santa from downloads .com or you can use Nero 7 that's is a good one to use or ISO as well most of them work in the same way all you have to do drag and drop it and then just click burn and it will do it or you some or them take a long time to convert like DVD Santa the best one i have found is Nero 7 hope this works for you

You could try http://www.winavi.com there is a trial but after that if your in the UK its about £18,but its so simple. I believe there are free converters to be had but have never tried them .

try downloading nero 7 works great for me you should find a free torrent and keygen somewhere.
