you can only go with asus or msi, if u want a full blown gamer already made, u can buy alienware, for mobos i recomend u get ok all those slots u want... dual ide and sata would b cool to have but u could probably go with the new sata drives make sure the hard drive and dvd are sata also, sata is way faster than ide... remember to go with an external video card dont mess with the built in ones itll probably just conflict get one without any video card, for high end proc. if u really wanna pack a punch theres 8 cores... 2 quad core chips think theyre on servers only still... u can get nice duo cores cheap now a days... get plenty of l2 cache it matters ALOT think of it like when u gotta wait for video to buffer in u tube a low l2 bottles up the info stream so u cant get everything out of ur proccesors, and thats raelly about it... not too sure about how amd is doing lately, if they got compatible duo processors id probably go with them they are always better than intel not to mention cooler temp = longer lasting good luck vote for me if i could help

the best motherboard ive ever seen is a gigabyte its a good brand. They usually come with about 8gig or ram, gigabyte ethernet(real fast internet), takes a amd processor, much much more with this motherboard.

I usually shop for my computer parts at www.eaglebit.com
and www.newegg.com they both have gigabye motherboards so take a look
