So I do like this:
Right click My Computer,
Properties,
Advanced tab,
Settings button (Starup and Recovery),
and I was uncheck Automatically Restart. And now when the pc restart itself(again), apears a message on a blue screen:
A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.
If this is the first time you`ve seen this stop error message, restart your computer. If this computer screen appears again, follow this steps:
Check to be sure your have adequate disk space. If a driver is identified in the stop message, disable the disable or check with the manufacturer for driver updates.Try changing video adapters.
Check for your hardware vendor for any BIOS updates.Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing. If you need to use safe mode to remove or disable components, restart your computer, press F8 to select advanced startup options, and select safe mode.

I just recently bought a 512 mb pc 3200 for my HP AMD Athlon 2600 plus 2.13 ghz. I had 512 of ram before. My older ram was a 512 mb pc2700 . I have vista on my comp and when i put my new ram in and restarted my comp up my rating dropped from a 2.4 to a 1.8. How is that possible? My latency for level one is 3 cycles and level two is 20 cylcles. My size is 64 kb for level one and 256 kb for level two. I even went to this site http://www.cpuid.com/cpuz.php to help me out. And when i went to see my memory, it only told me that i have only 512 pc2700 in. Not the new pc3200 i put in. It says i still have 1 extra slot open. I only have 2 solts. I reset to default the BIOS, but no difference. Plz help

Here's my specs right now. I just bought this computer all put together

AMD Athlon 64 3800+, 64 Bit 2.4GHz Gaming Processor

BIOSTAR GEFORCE 6100-M9 Socket 939, 4GB Max Memory, 6 Channel Audio, SATA, PCI Express, USB 2.0

1 GB DDR RAM

250GB SATA 7200RPM Serial-ATA Hard Drive with Windows XP

64mb Geforce 6100 Onboard Video

6 Channel Audio Processor

DVD Burner LITE-ON Black 18X DVD+/-R DL Burner

Network Card 10/100 LAN

Gaming Case With 450W Power Supply, Front Ports: USB and Audio Headers

The video settings for the game are on Low.

I cant drive cars or fly planes. It distorts the picture horribly, as well as my sound. After 15-20 minutes, the picture gets distorted anyway.

WHY!??!?!?!?!?!

And what should I upgrade so that I can play this game problem-free?

Thanks, Brad

For an AMD (I am a die hard AMD fan for gaming rigs) based platform what is the most reliable, over clockable, AM2 (preferably), motherboard with the most options available now. I would like it to be good for future processor updates and vista compliant. I have searched newegg but they dont post the max processor speed. thankx

I have a compaq presario with an amd sempro 3100 processor. According to all of the dvd burners I have looked at they require at least a Pentium 3 with 800 mhz and recommend a Pentium 4 130mhz. I will upgrade the processor on this comp. but there don't seem to be many choices there either. HELP

I keep seeing these cheap HP Core 2 Duo computers. They seem to be top-of-the-line. But, they're everywhere and they're only $650. Is there something wrong with them?
