I have bought computer.I use it for 10 years and then damage.I try to fix it myself.I send the hard disk to shop.I try to open the computer but it want me to click f1 but it cannot detect keyboard .Why?

reguarding Virus-damage to the home pc,sometimes will say that a virus can give your whole -pc irreversible damage?i was on the understanding that once you re-load a OS after a virus episode,that a pc will re-couperate and no component damage will be possible.In any circumstance!software Damage only,not ElECTRONIC OR HARDWARE Damage.am i wrong?

This is my fast laptop that im wanting to take the processor out of and put in my old and slow computer the laptop is a Mobile Intel(R) Celeron(R) 2.00 ghz and the Desktop Processor is a Intel(R) Celeron(TM) 1.2 ghz is this possible to do before i try and mess them up please help would really like my desktop faster. okay, heres the deal - i have a dell desktop - its about 3 years old and for about the past 6 months it will sometimes randomly restart while i am on it. it mainly does it when i have like 3 or 4 windows open at a time or if i go to my friends myspace page that has a lot of crap on it.

anyway, i was told i should get it checked out, so last week i took it to a computer repair shop - they checked it out and said that it just had a few viruses and removed them and installed a new virus program. well it keeps restarting and on one of the occasions that it restarted it said something about checking a driver. i have no clue what to do now - please help!

I actively make sure my computer does not have wasted running memory. So I am always closing processes down in system config. The problem is that when I close certain process and restart my computer They end up coming back and turning themselves on again. How do i stop these processes from starting up from my start up?
