Beeps usually occur when u start the system. If beam is occuring after loading windows, it might some bug and beeps are used to indicate that warning.

Beeps usually happen when the BIOS starts up! This is called POST Power On Self Test. Deppending on your motherboard and BIOS, beeps vary in length and pauses. They can indicate incorrect BIOS, Memory modules are not compatible, faulty or not seated correctly. Keyboard can also be damaged by fluids, stuck keys and not correctly connected... bent pin in plug etc. Suggest you read motherboard manual or contact manufacturer for indepth diagnostics.

Mine did that when I had gotten drops of coffee in the keyboard. I say it's a keyboard error! As soon as it dried out, it was fine. Why not replace the keyboard and see if that takes care of it. You can always use a spare anyway. :-)

If your computer is not working properly while you are working on it, it could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software.
