Open System in Control Panel.
On the Advanced tab, under Performance, click Settings.
On the Advanced tab, under Virtual memory, click Change.
Under Drive [Volume Label], click the drive that contains the paging file you want to change.
Under Paging file size for selected drive, click Custom size, and type a new paging file size in megabytes in the Initial size (MB) or Maximum size (MB) box, and then click Set.
If you decrease the size of either the initial or maximum page file settings, you must restart your computer to see the effects of those changes. Increases typically do not require a restart.

Well, virtual memory comes from your swapfile. Windows automatically programs this on install, but PartitionMagic can do the trick. Personally, don't go that route at all. Lemme break it down for you:
Virtual memory is when your computer has exhausted its real RAM and creates a pagefile of your real RAM and stores it in your harddrive. This RAM is nearly 100 times slower than real RAM. Its just a duplication of RAM digitalized in data form. You need to go to the local computer store and have them install more RAM into your PC. Increasing your virtual memory area on your PC would be pointless when upping your real RAM would be more efficient and uselful.
Oh and Partition Magic is a program used to resize, merge, and create partitions. This way you could signifigantly increase your swapfile. Remember, though, that increasing real RAM is a safer and better way to resolve your problem.
