There must b a restore point created by u..or else the last good configuration must hav been saved as restore point...Click start>Help>System restore...click and follow the instructions...

Restore points are created automatically by the system and you too can create a restore point. Go to Start ->All Programs ->Accessories -> System Restore and look for the date closest to 4 days ago when a restore point had been created. Restore it from there.

1.For windows XP Go to Start> All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Restore

2.Restore my computer to an earlier time> Choose the avail dates ( Not all dates are highlighted)

This is because u may not have made any changes to your system...i.e not installed any software

3. Gives you a warning msg that you have to save anything you have on and close all programs...then click next where it will collect infor then shutdown your pc and reboot it and then your pc is restored to the selected date.

You WON'T lose any save docs/data and you can reverse the process so no worries!! gd luck! chk out the links below for more info...

Hey! Pls always mention ur os when u asked this type of question. I assume u use windows xp. Then

Start-programme-accesories--system tools-system restore-
Select "Restore my computer to earlier time"--click next--look for
a bold date of 4 dyas back on calender-select it -click on next--
Your system will reboot & u r done.

But if u disable system restore than u have no way left to do that

depends if you set a restore point 4 days ago doesn't it!! if not then hard cheese.

or go to administrative tools
