My sons laptop keeps restarting just keeps going back to the page that says safe mode options.. Being a typical son, has lost all the thing it came with.. So where i can download the reboot disks etc..

My laptop will shut down suddenly without any particular reason. Some time, after 4 hours of using it, it will shut down all of a sudden. Some time, it shut down just after half an hour of using it. I've sent it to the computer shop to be repaired, but the technician said there's nothing wrong with it because with them, 'it' do not shut down like it did with me.But when I took it back, it will shut down again.What is wrong with that?Could it be some damage from the hardware or processor?

I just bought a camera device, I have succesfully installed it, but when I connect the USB cable to the camera device I get the following message:

USB device not recognized
one of the USB devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned, and windows does not recognize it. For assistance in solving this problem, click on this message.

Can anyone help me with this problem?

My RAM at the beginning was just 512 megs of that hynix crap. Then I put in a 512 meg samsung card that is PC3200 or 400mhz (cant remeber what PC3200 is) But in bios it says that is a 333mhz card with only one channel ? This is from an old Shuttle Zen (The samsung card) Is there a reason for this ? Is it because I have 3 cards in there ? cuz i heard that having only 3 will cause ur system to be unstable.

I don't know much about connections to the power button. I'm sure that's where the problem is. My motherboard, monitor and power lead all work fine as I checked them on another computer. Could you please explain in english not IT terms as I don't know that much. The computer was working half an hour ago untill I opened it to add a slave hard drive. Thanks in advance.

It was working fine up untill a week ago. I show all kinds of connections out there and when I try to logg on it will not let me. I am showwing 100% signal. But the transmitt and recieve bars do not show up any more. How do I fix it. I have a belking wireless card also and it does not show the link bars but it shows a 90% signal. Help me please. I only use 6 GB of memory of the Hard Disk, I dont have a video card the Ghz of my com is 2.55, my com does not have a virus 'cause my antivirus is updated, the memory card of my com is 512Mb. Everytime the com gets slow i reformat it.

I have and older computer and when I start it up I get a "disk read error occurred" then below said ctl+alt+del to restart. I restarted the computer with ctl+alt+del and the same thing happened again. I went into the bios and every thing seems fine, also there is nothing in my floppy drive or my cd drive. It will not start in safe mode. I even hooked my hard drive up to another computer and that computer started and worked without any problems. My son was the last person on this computer and he swears it was working fine when he turned it off. Is there any other reasons that could cause a disk read error? Thanks for any help.

I am trying to print with mailmerge on windows 2003. The envelope size is - Outer envelopes (5 7/16" x 7 7/8" )
