I want Maxtor 120 mg. mini USB hard drive. I have Compaq Presario laptop w/502 RAM and 32 bit OS.?

Will this work w/Vista? It says it needs Pentium III and 500 Mhz. I have 1.73 Ghz. I can't find how many Mhz I have. Do I have enough of what I need? (Sorry I am so computer illiterate).

Your 1.73 GHz CPU is the same as 1730MHz which is way more than the required 500MHz CPU.

you are better off sticking with windows XP....Windows Vista is still very problematic....
