I am running a PC with Skype and a Logitech camera with nor problems, but I am trying to help my girlfriend setup her iSight camera so that it is compatible with Skype. She can see me when I am calling her, but I cannot see her. How do I help her set it up...we tried for a while last night and couldn't remedy the problem. Help...long distance relationships are brutal!

well, first make sure it's connected properly. you can tell by looking at the green light on the top. if it goes on, then everything is fine. Next you have to turn it on. Turn the front part of the camera to the right to open up the white shutter in front of the lens. next, try setting it up in Skype. go to preferences > video to check if it sends a signal. if you see yourself, your just about done. I think you need to press a button during a video chat to send the video signal, so make sure you do that.

Open Skype on the Mac, and go to Preferences under Skype in the title bar. Then, click on the Video Tab.

The iSight should be listed. If not, call Apple tech support.
