I don't know much about connections to the power button. I'm sure that's where the problem is. My motherboard, monitor and power lead all work fine as I checked them on another computer. Could you please explain in english not IT terms as I don't know that much. The computer was working half an hour ago untill I opened it to add a slave hard drive. Thanks in advance.

take the slave drive off and try booting again. when u put the slave drive on did u unplug any cables from any of the other drives already in the case? if so you may have cause a conflict in the configuration of the devices already installed. add me to yahoo messenger, and i'll help ya ok?

Disconnect the Slave drive, and re-boot.

If your PC boots, check the jumper settings on the Slave and re-connect..

OR

Read the Motherboard Manual, and look for a reference to: "Motherboard Intrusion Detection".
