When I connect my laptop to my TV through an S-Video cable, why is the display on the TV so blurry? I can't even read the words. Can someone help me fix this problem please? I am using a 13-year-old Hitachi analog TV. Is that why it's so blurry? Also, is it possible to show what's on your TV on your laptop, or is it just supposed to show what's on your laptop on the TV, using an S-Video cable?

My computer has never have a usb ports, so I decide to install a USB 2.0 PCI card. When I plug it on the mainbord and turn on my computer it doesn't start even you can't enter the bios configuration utility.

My mainboard is a PcChips M755LMR.

I've tried other brands of cards and it happens again.
Please give a solution.

I went onto the HP troubleshooting site and followed the directions that they had but to no avail. Both the power and arrow light blink fast. Looked through the manual and that didn't help. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hi a friend of mine has a problem with the mouse on his laptop. The left click button is not very resposive and he has to press it about 6 times for it to work. Also the curser will move all over the screen on it's own.

Anyone got any ideas

The facsimilie will receive the messages into memory; but does not automatically print them out. Can you suggest a reason why? This feature worked OK until a week or so ago.

I just bought this Quantum WebCam tonight. And.. I followed the instructions.. and its supposed to work.. but its not.It says my webcam isn't connected.. nor is it workin on any messenger.. but everythins in place .. yeah, really.

I have a gateway computer with a v.92 56k modem. everytime I restart my computer and try to sign on to my ISP it says modem in use. When I go to the control panel under phone and modem options it says my modem is not present. The only way to get it back is to delete it then restart the computer and windows recognizes the new hardware and installs it. Does anyone know what the problem is?? I have this problem evertime I try to get online when I start-up my computer. I have windows XP

i have a ibm thinkpad which i want to put my cable and wireless pcmcia card into
the problem is my laptop only has 16bit cardbus slots and the pcmcia card i have is a 32 bit
is there a way round this such as a different driver or can i buy another card slot that will fit where the existing card slot is
its a shame as its just gathering dust at the moment as theres no usb or ethernet ports so the card slot is the only way to connect to the internet
specs(pentium 2 cpu,128mb ram,20gb hdd,running windows millenium)i know the specs are rubbish but i got this laptop for nothing and it would only be for web-browsing
any ideas guys?

Well-meaning that its not too glitchy where its so slow that I can barely do anything. Here are the specs I have on my laptop:

Toshiba Satellite-Windows Vista Home Basic
Intel Celeron M CPU 430@1.73GHz
with 896 MB of memory.and
ATI Radeon Xpress 200M series

I dont want to buy it and then have to return it the next day because I cant play it. Thanks =)

So, I've had a PC from e-maschines now for 4 years and yesterday just suddenly the green light by the on switch turned from green to an light orange and I thought I smelled as if something was burning... after shuting the computer down and then next day when I tried to turn it on it just lid up orange for a second and died down... I tried again but this time it did not even move... what is wrong with it ... please help!!!!

It goes to sleep mode automatically. Is it the monitor that needs to be replaced or is it something else? I've heard that monitors here don't work on the other side of the equator because of the magnetic field and I have to tune the monitor to make it work. Is that true?

i have a laptop, and i know how to use computers very well. my headphone jacks and microphones are working and my system sound is turned up...so thats not the problem. i have also tried installing new drivers, i have hit it (jk) and they still dont work. im hoping my computer speakers arent screwed. i also tested them...is this common? if you know whats wrong tell me, because they were just working yesterday and all of the sudden they stopped. i have a gateway if that helps...so yea i have also restarted. ran anti spyware. i have done the basics...so help me out...
