Well-meaning that its not too glitchy where its so slow that I can barely do anything. Here are the specs I have on my laptop:

Toshiba Satellite-Windows Vista Home Basic
Intel Celeron M CPU 430@1.73GHz
with 896 MB of memory.and
ATI Radeon Xpress 200M series

I dont want to buy it and then have to return it the next day because I cant play it. Thanks =)

Here is the system requirements for Sims 2:

* 800 MHz processor
* 256 MB RAM if Windows XP
* 128 MB RAM if Windows 98, Windows ME, or Windows 2000
* At least 3.5 gigs of free hard drive space

If you have a non-T&L capable video card (such as TNT2, Intel, or Rage for example) then you need at least:

* 2.0 GHz processor
* 256 MB RAM if Windows XP
* 128 MB RAM if Windows 98, Windows ME, or Windows 2000
* At least 3.5 gigs of free hard drive space

Recommened video cards (and the more video memory the better):

* ATI Radeon 9800 Pro
* Nvidia Geforce 4

If your PC meets or beats those requirements, it should run fine. Looks like it should be OK

Yep.... you shouldn't have any problems at all unless you lack the hard disk space. Seeing how you are running VISTA it's probably in good shape.

Just for info, the specs required are always printed on the box of the software package.

Read the "Minimum System Requirements" on the Sims 2 box

Your processor speed is just under the recommended 2.0 gz range for integrated graphics....

Try running a demo of the game.....
